  • Originally a Japan exclusive, the Flatbox Beckman Boot returns to its country of origin in Red Wing's Black Klondike teacore leather. The Beckman Boot was originally developed by Red Wing Japan's former manager, Michiya Suzuki, who sought to recreate 1930s-50s unstructured American work boots. The Flatbox Beckman is crafted using Red Wing's Black Klondike leather, a teacore leather with a black surface dye. Over time, the black surface will wear away to showcase the brown "tea" core of the leather, developing a unique brown-black patina. Its "Flatbox" moniker refers to the boot's unstructured toe box which is designed to flatten out to a sleeker silhouette with age. Goodyear welted, the 9060 features Redwing's Gro-Cord outsole, a faithful recreation of the soles used by Red Wing throughout the 1930s.
