• Taking inspiration from traditional kimono, Studio D'artisan presents a custom jacquard weave denim designed to replicate Japanese boro-work. Woven using a 15.5oz jacquard weave, the base denim features horizontal top-stitching resembling sashiko repairs. This special fabric will age beautifully as both the denim and sashiko stitchwork fade in tandem. Fitted with classic five-pocket details, the sashiko pants come sewn with hidden rivets, raised belt loops, and a custom glazed cowhide patch. Cut in SDA's "Relaxed Tapered" fit, designed with a medium-high rise and roomy thigh for an unrestricted modern cut with a tapered leg.
