Curbside Pickup & Services

CURBSIDE PICKUP

During phase 1 of Washington State's phased reopening Blue Owl will be offering curbside pickup for local orders. This service begins on Monday, May 11th 2020. For convenient and safe pickup please follow the instructions below.

  1. Place an order online and select 'Curbside Pickup' as your shipping option.
  2. Receive a confirmation email that the order is ready to pick up. Please note your order number, which we will use (along with your name) for identification on pick up.
  3. Drive right up to our shop during pickup hours (11am to 5pm daily) and call us at 206-849-6500.
  4. Stay in your car and we will bring your order out to you.
  5. If you are not driving, please call us during pickup hours (11am to 5pm) from outside our shop upon arrival and follow instructions for safe pickup.
  6. During our limited in-person pickup contact we would appreciate it if you could wear a mask or face covering. Our staff will be wearing a mask or face covering.

SERVICES

During phase 1 Blue Owl will provide hemming and repairs for our local customers as drop-off services. To receive these services please follow the instructions below.

Hemming

  1. During Phase 1 we cannot offer in-store measuring, so we ask you to give us either (1) the final inseam length you want (e.g., “hem to 31 inches”) or (2) the amount to be removed (e.g., “remove 1.5 inches”).
  2. Include with each drop-off denim a note that provides the following (please make sure your note is legible):
    • Your name
    • Your email
    • Your phone number
    • Hem instructions (e.g., “hem to 31 inches” or “remove 1.5 inches”)
    • Order number (if purchased through us)
  3. For drop off, drive up to our shop between 11am and 5pm and call us at 206-849-6500. If you are not driving, please call us from outside our shop upon arrival.
  4. Follow instructions over the phone to drop off your denim.
  5. During our limited in-person drop off and pickup contact we would appreciate it if you could wear a mask or face covering. Our staff will be wearing a mask or face covering.
  6. We will try to hem your denim within 1-2 days.
  7. We will email you when the denim is ready for pickup. If the denim was purchased directly from Blue Owl, hemming is a free service, so there is no charge. If the denim was purchased elsewhere, there is a $25 fee per denim for hemming service. If there is a charge, we will email you an invoice to be paid prior to pickup.
  8. For pick up return to our shop between 11am and 5pm in the same way you dropped off your denim, give us a call, and follow instructions.
  9. We will bring your denim out to you.

Repairs

  1. Give your denim a fresh machine wash with detergent. We cannot accept any denim that has not been freshly washed due to safety concerns.
  2. Include with each drop-off denim a note that provides the following (please make sure your note is legible):
    • Your name
    • Your email
    • Your phone number
    • Description of the work to be done, as specific as possible
  3. For drop off, drive up to our shop between 11am and 5pm and call us at 206-849-6500. If you are not driving, please call us from outside our shop upon arrival between 11am and 5pm.
  4. Follow instructions over the phone to drop off your denim.
  5. During our limited in-person drop off and pickup contact we would appreciate it if you could wear a mask or face covering. Our staff will be wearing a mask or face covering and gloves.
  6. After dropping off your denim we will examine it and email you an invoice for the cost of the repair. If you have a question about the invoice please call or email us at sales@blueowl.us prior to payment.
  7. Once we receive your payment we will begin the repair work and try to complete it within seven days.
  8. Once the repair work is done we will email you confirming your denim is ready for pickup.
  9. For pick up, return to our shop between 11am and 5pm in the same way you dropped off your denim, give us a call, and follow instructions.
  10. We will bring your denim out to you.

FAQ

At this time we cannot accept cash. All payments must be done online through our store, or through email invoices.

We can accept returns at our shop, but only after email authorization. Please email us at sales@blueowl.us to receive return authorization. We will email you specific instructions for preparing your return.
