  • Crafted in Germany on Merz b. Schwanen’s mid-century jersey knitting machine from the 1960s, the 2M15 shirt is the brand’s vintage-knit medium weight tee. As an alternative to the iconic 215, this version features a slightly lighter weight and is constructed with side seams to better follow the body’s natural lines. Unlike modern machines that use more needles to produce finer jerseys, this vintage circular knitting machine uses a wide needle spacing, a 26" (66cm) diameter, and a two-thread process to create a unique texture. The result is a distinct construction that sets it apart from traditional knits. We recommend sizing up to account for shrinkage.
