• Made exclusively for Blue Owl, this collaborative pant comes sewn using Japan Blue's 11oz raised Sashiko fabric in a classic five-pocket design. "Hikeshi Banten", or traditional Japanese firefighter uniforms, sport a thick sashiko fabric worn as workwear to battle the flames throughout Japan's Edo and Meiji period. Inspired by the traditional Hikeshi uniforms, this installment is crafted using an 11oz indigo-dyed sashiko fabric that will continue to fade with wear. The fabric's raised sashiko weave develops prominent contrasting between the base and sashiko-stitching over time, bringing a spectrum of indigo blues to the surface with wear. The pants are designed in a classic 5-pocket style and come equipped with a custom leather patch and twill pocket bags decorated with a jacquard woven sashiko design.
