• Grown, harvested, and woven in Japan, this collector's edition denim was originally conceptualized as a passion-project by Samurai Jeans founder Toru Nogami to produce a completely made in Japan denim from seed to stitch. Fittingly named the "Samurai Cotton Project," the 17oz selvedge denim sports a highly-visible vertical slub texture and a luxuriously smooth hand-feel, complete with a wide array of indigo color across the denim's surface. These truly rare homegrown jeans are rinsed in-house to remove shrinkage, and are presented in the brand's Middle Straight fit complete with a mid-rise and classic straight leg. The jeans come packed with symbolism referencing the brand's traditional warrior ethos including special edition iron buttons, jacquard pocket bags, back pocket rivets, and a custom branded leather patch depicting the Samurai from which the brand take its name.
