The second pair of 811’s to grace the fade museum, this pair showcases the nuanced fading potential of this denim. While the 14.5oz American cotton fabric appears simple on paper, two pairs of the same denim can inherit different characteristics from their owners. Jon Rejent spent a lot of time skateboarding in these jeans, resulting in heavy abrasion on the knees and back yoke. The 10+ washes this pair received has given them a much lighter color, but high contrast creasing remains.
