• Momotaro's Botanical Dye series features natural dye extracts applied to a newly developed 12.5oz selvedge denim. Inspired by foliage found on temple grounds and garden paths, the moss dye reflects Japan’s natural landscape through a rustic green-brown garment-dye finish. Woven using Zimbabwe cotton yarns the denim features a structured medium-weight weave and classic red selvedge ID. The jeans are finished with details paying homage to the Japanese folktale Momotaro receives its name from.

As part of the group, Momotaro maintains full control over every stage of production, from cotton selection to weaving and sewing. The name comes from a Japanese folktale about a boy born from a peach who defeats demons to protect his village—symbolized through the brand’s pink selvedge and battle stripes, representing craftsmanship, courage, and heritage.
