John Lofgren's Montgomery Boot takes notes from British officer boots of the early 1900s. Blending utility and sophistication, the Montgomery's clean lines are cut from Horween Tannery's Single Horse Front, a lightweight leather with a textured grain and comfortable break-in. The boots are built on the new 250 last - a round toe last with dress sensibilities, balanced for all-day comfort. Made in Japan using resoleable Goodyear welt construction, the boots are finished with a Vibram half sole atop a durable double leather midsole.
Originally from California, John Lofgren began his journey with vintage clothing before relocating to Japan in 2000 to open his first store, Honky Tonk Company (H.T.C.). Inspired by the quality and character of vintage garments, he launched his own brand rooted in classic American silhouettes.
