• This unique offering from Samurai features traditional Japanese washi paper blended at the weft. Used in calligraphy and shoji screens, washi is made from the inner bark of Japanese mulberry and mitsumata plants and is prized for its resilience while remaining thin and lightweight. The warp yarns are spun using extra-long staple cotton fibers, chosen for it's soft, silk-like touch. The result is a highly distinctive denim that balances strength, texture, and breathability.
