• Studio D'Artisan presents the Futa-Ai selvedge denim. This special release receives its color through a blend of Tokushima natural indigo and madder root extracts. Dating back to Japan's Heian period (794–1185), the Futa-Ai color symbolizes nobility and elegance, originally reserved for high-ranking officials and aristocracy. Studio D'Artisan combines this special dye with an extra-slubby loose textured weave.
