• The Yurai denim from Tanuki is a 15oz cobalt weft selvedge denim, developed using a natural indigo rope-dyeing method to produce a rich spectrum of blues across the fabric’s surface. Pre-washed for a softer feel, the denim is loosely woven for a uniquely neppy slub texture. The name “Yurai” (translated to "origin" in Japanese) reflects the denim's distinct weft and its ties to Tanuki’s iconic aesthetic. Exceptionally durable and detailed with custom Tanuki hardware, this fabric will age to a vibrant electric blue over time.
