• A union of natural dyeing techniques and vintage powerloom construction, Graph Zero’s mediumweight Nep Selvedge denim is woven using irregular nep yarns, creating an ultra-slubby texture reminiscent of handwoven textiles. The fabric is dyed using a combination of aizome (natural indigo) and kakishibu (persimmon tannin) techniques, both rooted in Japanese dye traditions dating back nearly a millennium. These methods require the precision and expertise of skilled artisans to achieve colors with visual depth and transformative character. The jeans are finished with a factory rinse process to remove shrinkage and soften the fabric.
