  • The Canal Pant is designed as a hybrid work-dress trouser, combining fine-tailoring with sturdy workwear fabrics. Sewn using a sturdy cotton gabardine twill woven with a smooth finish and mechanical wrinkle resistance. Cut in a relaxed-straight-leg fit, the pant comes finished with darted pleats at the waistband, slant pockets, and welt pockets at the rear.

Rooted in community, the brand was born out of tradition when founder Andrew Livingston purchased the brand's New York factory from the previous owner under the condition of continuing the factory's lineage. Since then, Knickerbocker continues to employ vintage machinery to produce their garments, and is committed to transparency and sustainability in their craft.

Founded in 2012, the story of Knickerbocker began in a 1950s era New York city factory. The label first gained attention for their accurate reproductions of vintage American styles, created through a mixture of the factory's original tools and machinery. Knickerbocker now collaborates with a number of like-minded manufacturers to produce their clothing, with an emphasis on transparency and sustainability in their craft.
