• The "Bengala" series from Studio D'artisan is a limited production of over-dyed garments featuring an ancient iron-oxide dyeing technique famous for its stunning color and unparalleled durability. Revered for its natural qualities, Bengala dye has long been woven into Japanese life, historically used not only in pottery and lacquerware, but also for painting and protecting the exterior of houses. When mixed with SDA's indigo dyed denim the dye produces a gentle, warm earth red that will fade slowly to a variety of rich hues. The final product undergoes a rinse to minimize shrinkage and is equipped with two button chest pockets, welted waist hand pockets, and waist cinches at the hip.
