• This special release from Pure Blue Japan reinvents the ultra-textured Extra Slub Series denim through a natural kakishibu-dye. Made in small batches in Japan, the denim's inky dark indigo surface is contrasted by kakishibu's signature reddish-brown interior to highlight the fabric's heavy slub yarn. As with other styles in PBJ's catalog, the Extra Slub is woven on an old-world shuttle loom using a specialized slow weaving technique to produce the unique texture the brand is renowned for. Finished with custom nickel buttons, a deerskin natural leather patch, and the signature Pure Blue Japan indigofera leaf embroidery.
