• Pure Blue Japan's Teacore Denim mirrors Japan's highly sought-after teacore horsehides. "Chashin" or Teacore leathers are coated black and gradually reveal warm brown undertones with wear. To achieve a similar effect, Pure Blue Japan weaves the denim using brown-core, black-dyed warp yarns paired with a brown weft interior. Overtime the fabric will fade and transform, showcasing the brown-core interior with wash and wear. Crafted on vintage shuttle looms, the denim utilizes irregular slub yarns, resulting in a variegated surface texture. Finished with custom hardware, a black lambskin leather patch, and the brand's signature indigofera leaf embroidery. This installment comes pre-rinsed for a softer hand feel and streamlined sizing.
