• Naked & Famous pays homage to a mischievous Japanese river deity with the "Kawataro" selvedge denim. A small yet menacing creature from Japanese folklore, the Kawataro is often depicted lurking arounds ponds and rivers with green reptile-like scaly skin. This inspired the denim's 14.5oz fabric, which features a greencast indigo surface and a textured low-tension weave. The lower tension gives the fabric extra character that will soften and reveal more of its slubby surface with wear over time. Finished with custom Naked & Famous hardware, waxy leather patch, and pink selvedge ID.
