• Samurai presents their AI-Plus Sakura denim, combining the brands natural indigo AI denim with Japanese cherry blossom extract. The AI-Plus is Samurai’s original 18oz pure-indigo denim, rope-dyed for a rich, natural hue that fades like traditional indigo. The weft is dyed a soft pink-beige using an extract derived from Japanese cherry blossom trees. Woven on antique shuttle looms, the 18oz fabric uses yarns spun from a blend of Japanese and American grown cotton. The hand-dyed yarns uses two distinct shades of indigo, creating a complex, varied blue. In keeping with Samurai’s warrior ethos, the jeans feature symbolic details paying homage to the brands Japanese heritage and heavy duty construction.
