• The Lot 487 Zip Hoodie from Warehouse is a faithful reproduction of midcentury athletic knitwear. Referencing 1960s American reverse weave sweatshirts, Warehouse's 487 fabric is made from heavyweight loopwheel fabric knit slowly at a rate of just one meter per hour, giving it a soft, lofty, and durable feel. True to period construction, the hoodie features ribbed side panels for increased range of motion and to prevent fabric twist during washing. Designed to minimize shrinkage, reverse weave fabrics are knit horizontally rather than vertically. This construction, combined with ribbed side paneling, increases durability and helps maintain the garment’s shape over time.
