• Drawing from their expertise in crafting time-accurate denim reproductions and referencing vintage denim archives, Studio D'artisan faithfully recreates a weathered and worn WWII model denim. This denim incorporates a range of vintage-inspired details, including a brown weft finish and oxidized hardware, faithfully emulating the appearance of well-used and faded work pants from that era. Woven on the first Japan-made shuttle loom, the G3 Toyoda, this low tension fabric from Studio D'Artisan is a testament to the brand's high standard of quality and heritage background. The vintage loom can only weave 5 meters of fabric per hour, but creates a unique and uneven roughness which cannot be replicated by any other machine. The denim has been given a heavy wash treatment to eliminate shrinkage, leaving them ready to be worn right away, no soaking required.
