We are excited to announce our newest brand: Buddy.

Since 2012, the cheerful Japanese brand Buddy has been crafting sneakers and leather goods in their Tokyo studio. With simplicity at its core, Buddy’s objective is to “make happy” via a colorful collection of shoes inspired by man’s best friend. The brand’s signature silhouettes - the Corgi and Bull Terrier - feature classic designs and detailing that are sure to place the sneakers among your daily favorites.

Shoes from Buddy are sized via traditional Japanese sizing. Fits are true to size, with a slightly roomier width, making the shoes great options for anyone with a wider feet. Conversion charts are available under the "sizing" section of each item.

The Corgi is a simple low top sneaker featuring a minimalist three hole lace design. Inspired by its respective dog breed, the sneaker features a rough suede upper that has been shaped and stitched to depict the ears and tail of a dog. The sleek profile of the Corgi lends itself well to casual outfits and attire. Fits true to size with a slightly roomier width.

The Bull Terrier is a classic low top sneaker featuring tonal stitching and a clean aesthetic. Available in smooth leather or the limited edition nubuck, the shoe is designed as a versatile option for all types of wardrobes. The Bull Terrier is designed as a "chubby" sneaker, implementing additional padding and reinforcement around the heel and ankle for a more comfortable feel. Fits true to size with a slightly roomier width.

Additionally, our first shipment of sneakers from Buddy brings us a handful of special release items - including the natural leather "BFF" Bull Terrier pictured above. With wear, this sneaker will age and patina into a dark brown, similar to any natural leather belt or boots.

Lastly, our first shipment of products from Buddy includes the brand's signature bags - the Glossa Backpacks and Roll Play Tote - rounding out the exceptional debut from our newest brand.
