  • Hyper-refining the MA-1 Flight Jacket, CIOTA's rendition balances military-heritage with contemporary styling. CIOTA produces a high-density twill for their MA-1; woven using Suvin cotton and Toray nylon yarns for a silk-like softness and relaxed drape. The jacket receives its color from a liquid “Jet” dyeing technique - a laborious process requiring repeated kneading through a continuous flow of dye solution to achieve deep color penetration with subtle tonal variations. The jacket is insulated with ultra-fine Toray fibers, a down alternative and lightweight fill chosen for its exceptional heat retention. Finished with handwarmer pockets, a Scovill zipper, and smooth cupro lining.
