• The Naked & Famous "MIJ" series features an entirely Japan-based production process, with yarns spun, denim woven, hardware cast, and fabric sewn in Japan. Translated as “raw, unrefined ore,” the Genseki selvedge embodies this philosophy, with Naked & Famous crafting the fabric in pursuit of the ultimate raw and rugged texture. Utilizing a combination of slub and nep yarns, the denim displays an extremely textured surface defined by its hairy, neppy, and irregular slub appearance. Finished with exclusive Made in Japan detailing, the jeans are tempi-treated to remove shrinkage while preserving the fabric’s raw character.
