  • Inspired by the South African grasslands, the Veldt Boot is a rugged footwear style from Truman Boot Co. of Oregon. Built exclusively for Blue Owl, the boots are crafted using region-appropriate kudu leather that has been tanned at the historic Charles F Stead leather tannery of Leeds, United Kingdom. Kudus are types of wild antelope native to African veldts whose leather is known for its rugged appearance. This particular hide was selected for its grainy texture, which brings the kudu's natural scars and scratches to the forefront for variation in color. The boots are anchored by time-tested Vibram 430 soles and are fused together using traditional Goodyear welt construction. Finished with contrast stitching, branded leather insole, and brass hardware.
